Choices are guided by what we want. Conscious awareness, consideration and wise discrimination can lead to better choices. We think of alternatives with the various costs and benefits, now possible consequences. As individuals we make these choices deliberately and habitually.

We choose to participate in teams to accomplish projects we can’t achieve alone or they would be less fun alone.

Groups take actions by consensus, majority vote or recognized leadership. Leadership can be formal in the case of ownership for profit organizations or assignment by a non-profit board of directors.

Informal and formal leaders inspire us with their values and how they direct and manage group actions to achieve successful outcomes. Clarity of our values personally and in our groups adds to clarity in our decisions and thereby in what we accomplish.
